September 2026 Newsletter
Dear Friends,
September is a time for new routines, new connections and, sometimes, a reminder that we don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
In this month's Aging Gracefully update, we're sharing a few things that reflect the heart of what we do.

Camp Limitless: Creating a Place Where Kids with Type 1 Diabetes Can Just Be Kids
When Aging Gracefully Care Manager Ellen Jones’ daughter Amelia was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 8, Ellen wanted more than anything for her daughter to feel connected, included and—most importantly—like a kid.
That desire led Ellen and three other moms to ask a simple question:
Why doesn’t St. Louis have a day camp specifically for kids with Type 1 diabetes?
So they decided to create one. This summer, Camp Limitless welcomed 29 children ages 5-12 years old for a week filled with swimming, archery, climbing, outdoor adventures, new friendships and plenty of camp magic, all in an environment where their medical devices, blood sugar checks and diabetes care were simply part of the norm.
For Ellen, the experience was deeply personal. It was also a powerful reminder of the work she does every day as a care manager: building connections, finding resources, solving problems and making sure people have the support they need.
We’re sharing Ellen’s story—and the story of Camp Limitless—in our latest article.

Celebrating Community at L'Chaim!
We were grateful to attend the Jewish Federation of St. Louis' L'Chaim! event and spend an evening celebrating community and connection. We're sharing a few photos from a fun night with wonderful people and organizations doing meaningful work in our community.
Thank you for being a part of the Aging Gracefully community. We're honored to be here to support older adults, caregivers and the families who care for them.
